Lenny Hughes
Vice-Chair person
Date Appointed: March 2024
Board and committee responsibilities: Community Wellbeing and Resilience
Career: Award-winning hospitality leader with over 20 years experience managing
large hotels and hostels, across the UK. Proven track record of delivering revenue
growth, profitability improvements, large-scale refurbishment projects, operational
excellence, and guest satisfaction enhancements. Progressed from financial
management roles to General Manager positions overseeing major properties in
Edinburgh, Glasgow, London, and Liverpool. Recognised for strong commercial
acumen, people development, project leadership, and business transformation, with
extensive expertise in hotel openings, operational turnarounds, revenue
management, and stakeholder engagement.
Lenny is originally from Craigshill and moved back here 12 years ago.
He is currently a boxing trainer at Livingston Boxing Club, based in Craigshill and
also volunteers for West Lothian Recovery service, running a weekly boxing class for service users.
Olufemi Odofi
Board Director – Secretary
Date Appointed: 19th March 2025
Qualifications: Femi holds an MSc in International Business Management from Glasgow Caledonian University, an Executive MBA,
and a Bachelor of Pharmacy.
Board and Committee Responsibilities: Femi contributes to the strategic direction and governance of Craigsfarm Community Hub, with particular focus on data analytics, performance measurement, and operational effectiveness. He provides valuable insight into business transformation, stakeholder engagement strategies, and evidence-based decision-making to support the board & oversight responsibilities.
Professional Background: Femi has extensive experience in operational leadership, data analytics, and strategic planning across FMCG. healthcare and technology sectors. He has held senior positions including Operations Head at Coca-Cola HBC, managing geographically dispersed teams and PL responsibility. His pharmaceutical sector experience includes managing national operations at Sanofi Pasteur and engaging with Ministry of Health stakeholders on public health programmes. Femi serves as a STEM Ambassador (since July 2024), supporting initiatives to inspire and engage young people in science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. This volunteer role reflects his commitment to community development, education, and widening participation in STEM fields. Femi is an avid learner with keen interests in leadership development and emerging technology trends. He enjoys travelling and is fluent in English with intermediate proficiency in French. He resides in Livingston.

Gina Giubarelli
Board member
Qualifications In Business, Food Science, Food Hygiene and Nutrition
Appointed: February 2025
Board and committee responsibilities: Governance, leadership and financial
sustainability, marketing and promotions.
Career: Gina Giubarelli has extensive experience in managing all aspects of
business projects from start up to a going concern.
Involved in all aspects of the business from raising finances for set up, book-keeping,
marketing, advertising, HR, staff training and the day-to-day tasks of running the
business.
Involved mostly in the catering sector, she was commissioned to write food articles
for various publications specialising in Italian cuisine.
Gina is third generation Italian from a family with generational roots in catering. She
was brought up in West Lothian, moved with the business to Edinburgh, before
returning to West Lothian almost 10 years ago.
An intrepid traveller, likes visiting and exploring new countries, their cultures and, of
course, their cuisine.
Murray Carle

Board Responsibilities: Vice Chair and Community Engagement Lead.
Biography:
David has extensive experience in business management, organisational development, and community engagement. Over the years, he has worked closely with both public and third-sector organisations, helping them develop sustainable strategies that deliver positive outcomes for local communities.
As Vice Chair, David supports the strategic direction of Craigsfarm Community Hub and works closely with fellow Board members to ensure the organisation continues to meet the evolving needs of the community. He has a strong interest in partnership working and believes that collaboration is key to creating meaningful and lasting impact. His practical approach and commitment to community wellbeing help strengthen the organisation’s ability to deliver high-quality services and opportunities for local residents.
Neil Sutherland
