What we do

What we do


We provide the surrounding communities with somewhere to go and something to do, within a modern purpose built space at the heart of Craigshill in Livingston.

The building has been carefully designed to provide flexible space that responds to what the community has told us they want, and in addition to a café, counselling room, events and meeting space and office accommodation we deliver a range of community projects. These projects utilise indoor and outdoor space and provide opportunities for people to try something new, learn a new skill, meet new people and also volunteer their time.

The Community Café


Come and join us at our community Cafe, where everyone is welcome – including your furry friends! Our cafe is dog-friendly, and we also offer a take away service, so you can enjoy our delicious food and drinks on-the-go. In addition, we provide outside catering, perfect for your next event or special occasion.

Fully accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs, our cafe has a small indoor children’s play area and opens up onto an outdoor playground so that you can enjoy your coffee and cake while your children play, whatever the weather.

Our volunteers and staff are dedicated to creating a friendly and inclusive atmosphere, so everyone feels welcome.

Meeting and Event Space


Dedicated meeting rooms, and flexible community space means that we can accommodate a variety of events from exercise classes, to meetings, weddings, and birthday celebrations. There is also the opportunity to rent the café space outside of standard café opening hours.

THE PERFECT VENUE FOR YOUR KIDS PARTY OR EVENT

Dottie’s Counselling Room


Dedicated space is available for use for organisations offering counselling or other talk therapies that require a comfortable and quiet environment to deliver their services.

The space has been sympathetically designed and decorated with the need to provide a non-threatening and neutral environment for those requiring emotional support.

This room can be booked by the hour, half day or day and organisations requiring space on a regular basis can block book.

Community Projects

At the heart of the community the Craigfarm Community Hub is home to a range of community projects which respond to the needs of the communities in Craigshill and surrounding areas.

Our aim is to ensure that there is something going on at the Hub for everyone whatever your age, interest or background; whether you want to increase your skills, take up a new hobby, meet new people or volunteer your time.

The introduction of new outdoor space for community projects means that there will be even more opportunities to get involved.

Office Space


Craigsfarm is located just off the A899 and within 5 minutes’ drive of the M8, and provides a small selection of office accommodation for rent. All offices are unfurnished, CAT6 cabled, and tenants can benefit from discounted room lets and catering.
