What we do

We provide the surrounding communities with somewhere to go and something to do, within a modern purpose built space at the heart of Craigshill in Livingston.

The building has been carefully designed to provide flexible space that responds to what the community has told us they want, and in addition to a café, counselling room, events and meeting space and office accommodation we deliver a range of community projects. These projects utilise indoor and outdoor space and provide opportunities for people to try something new, learn a new skill, meet new people and also volunteer their time.

Check out our regular programme of events or get in touch if you or your group would like to run events or activities from Craigsfarm.

The Trough Café

Open five days a week, the Trough is our community café, which serves a range of hot and cold food, refreshments and is the only café in Craigshill serving barista style coffees. Sit in, or if you don’t have the time, we offer a range of items to take away.

Fully accessible for wheelchairs and pushchairs, our café has a small indoor children’s play area and opens up onto an outdoor playground so that you can enjoy your latte and cake while your children play, whatever the weather. We also have dedicated space in our lobby to accommodate pushchairs.

The café is also home to regular community activities and groups, so please check out the ‘What’s On’ section for more info.

Meeting and Event Space

Dedicated meeting rooms, and flexible community space means that we can accommodate a variety of events from exercise classes, to meetings, weddings, and birthday celebrations. There is also the opportunity to rent the café space outside of standard café opening hours.
