West lothian youth action project (wlyap)

West Lothian Youth Action Project (WLYAP) seeks to meet the ever changing needs of young people by offering support, information and advice to those aged 10-21. Although based at Craigsfarm Community Hub WYLAP offers support to young people throughout West Lothian. This includes operating a detached youth work service, peer education, diversion from crime and anti-social behaviour, befriending service, targeted group work programmes, practical training workshops, summer activities and a music project. Over 25 years of working with young people means that they can also assist parents/carers and communities who may be experiencing difficulty with young people.

Sands Lothian

Sands Lothians is a local charity providing compassionate support to families following the death of a baby including befriending and counselling. The dedicated team at Craigsfarm Community Hub, are on hand to support families one to one and also through free counselling and support meetings held here.

Wellbeing Scotland

“Wellbeing Scotland provides a wide range of holistic services for individuals and families whose life experiences have impacted negatively on their wellbeing.   Open Secret is our service for Adult Survivors of Childhood Abuse/Trauma has its West Lothian Service base at the Hub and supports adults who have experienced childhood trauma and/or experiences of gender based violence.  Our confidential counselling service offers a safe place to explore your thoughts and feelings around your past experiences and the impact these are having on your wellbeing. You will decide what you wish to talk about and what changes you would like to make to improve your wellbeing and quality of life”
