Join Ruth Hollis on Thursday mornings for a relaxing, gentle yoga class. This class is designed for people who need some time out from their busy lives.
No previous yoga experience necessary.
PLEASE BRING A YOGA MAT (a limited number are available if you don’t have one). All other props provided.
The first 45 minutes of the class will be slow flow Vinyasa yoga designed to build strength and flexibility, followed by 30 minutes of restorative yoga. Restorative yoga involves only a few poses, held for long periods of time while supported by lots of props. This form of yoga was developed for people who were ill or injured but has been found to be extremely beneficial for everyone. It allows you to rest and relax deeply. It is particularly beneficial for those who suffer from anxiety, stress or depression but can be enjoyed by everyone!
